The VWS provides benchmarks for Victorian wine. Competition entries must be 100% grown and made in Victoria, with entry forms in by the 2nd week of September. Judging in 72 classes, a Presentation of Awards Dinner, and Tastings for Exhibitors, the Trade, the Media and the Public all take place in October. Gold medal winners are eligible for entry into the National Wines Show.
